Who this is for
The online cohort is for anyone in India who cannot or does not want to travel to a centre to learn Sudarshan Kriya - including people in Mumbai who prefer the comfort of home. The technique is the same. Only the format changes.
Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, or any city or town away from Mumbai. The course comes to you.
Including people in Mumbai. A quiet room at home is just as good as a room with strangers - sometimes better.
No commute, no traffic. You walk from one room to the next when the session begins. That alone makes it possible for many working professionals.
Format
The course is taught live across three consecutive days. Not a pre-recorded video series. The trainer is on camera with you, can see your breathing and posture, and gives feedback in real time - which is exactly why this is taught live and not as an app.
What you'll learn
A guided breathing practice taught in The Happiness Program by the Art of Living Foundation. Practised daily at home in about 20 minutes, it calms the body and settles the mind.
Short, simple breathing practices you can use anywhere - before a meeting, in traffic, or at bedtime. Tools you keep using long after the three days are over.
Learn how your own mind works - why it races, why it worries, and how to settle it without fighting it. Plain language, no jargon.

Online vs in-person
Both formats teach the same technique by the same kind of certified trainer. The right choice is mostly about logistics and personal preference.
FAQ
Live. The whole course is taught in real time on Zoom. The trainer can see you, watch your breath and posture, and answer questions as they come up. A recording cannot replace that kind of feedback when you are learning a breathing practice for the first time.
For most people, yes. The same technique is taught, the same trainer guides you, and feedback happens in real time. The in-person room has its own quiet group energy - but for someone who cannot travel, the live online format is a real option, not a compromise.
Yes. Most participants are complete beginners. No prior meditation, yoga, or breathing experience is needed. Everything is taught from zero, step by step, in plain language.
The three days build on each other, so missing one is not ideal. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, you can usually finish the missed session in the next online cohort - just let us know early so we can plan it.
About this page. The Happiness Program® and Sudarshan Kriya™ are programs of The Art of Living Foundation, an international non-profit founded by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
